Beta is so much more than just the awards. The opportunities allow students to build relationships and engage in rigorous events based on their individual skills and interest. Beta Members share a desire to lead and serve their communities.
The Bladenboro Middle School Beta Club was very successful at the State Convention. The students demonstrated hard work, determination, and perseverance while preparing for competition. Throughout the events, several awards were earned. Bladenboro students received the following awards based on their performance during the convention.
First Place: Portfolio, Woodworking, and 3-D Design
Second Place: Club Trading Pin, Sculpture, and Speech
Third Place: Service Learning Showcase, 2-D Design, 6th Grade Science Academic Test, Technology, and Recyclable Art
Fourth Place: Performing Arts Solo, Duo, Trio
Fifth Place: Black and White Photography
The Sponsors from Bladenboro Middle stated, “We are pleased that our students not only understand the pillars of Beta, they REPRESENT them!”
Beta students at Bladenboro Middle represented Bladen County by winning various awards. The next step will move toward attending the National Competition in Nashville, Tennessee.
