Bladen County Public Library’s Christmas wish to help local children have a Merry Christmas this year. The library in Elizabethtown is now accepting donations of new toys to be distributed to local children in need.

Christmas is a great time of year to help those in need, and every child deserves to have a good Christmas. Bladen County Public Library believes this, and that is exactly why the staff is doing their part to help others… and they need your help too!

Donations will be accepted at the Elizabethtown branch of Bladen County Public Library until December 22nd, 2021. All toy donations must be new, not used, toys.

Bladen County Public Library is located at 111 North Cypress Street in Elizabethtown. The library is open from 8:30 am until 6 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 8:30 am until 8:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 8:30 am until 12:30 pm on Saturdays.

Bladen County Library Director Sheila Nance says, “We always like to help our community in any way we can. We obviously have a heart for children, and we don’t want any child to go without Christmas gifts this year. We hope that all our loyal patrons will pick up a new toy when they are shopping and drop it off at our library. Together, we can make Christmas a little merrier for Bladen County’s children.”
