Audra West started her career with Cape Fear Valley Health in 1995 as a Medical Technologist. Later, was Quality Assurance/Compliance Technologist for Blood Services and then in 2007 she was promoted to the Director of Laboratory Services for Bladen Healthcare.
Audra’s department provides various types of tests for inpatient and outpatient clinics. Laboratory professionals collect, perform & evaluate medical lab tests to correctly detect, diagnose & help prevent diseases while adhering to the highest quality standards of health care. Just recently, Audra’s department underwent a Joint Commission Lab Survey and there were no direct findings, which is a very high level of achievement.
Audra also serves on numerous committees and is known for her calm and compassionate demeanor and that she leads a strong team of individuals who always make patient care the top priority.
Audra and her family live in Bladenboro. She has a daughter and a son and she spends her free time at the baseball field or at dance competitions.
