All churches in Bladen County are asked to sign up for a non-denominational prayer vigil. Lisa Clark from Clarkton, North Carolina has asked for assistance with obtaining church volunteers in Bladen County to pray during the vigil.
The vigil will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16 and last until 6 p.m. Monday, September 17. People of prayer are being asked to pray for a hour at a time where you are planted. Please do not leave a place where you are safe to pray in a different location.
If you wish to participate in the prayer vigil sign up on our Facebook event page by clicking here or text the hour you can help pray to 910-876-5393. An example of a prayer sign up would be to: Jane Doe (from church XYZ) praying from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
If two or more people from your church can pray please sign up both names. If you can not pray for the whole hour, but can pray for 30 minutes, please sign up as well.
Clark said, “Pray for the waters to cease rising and the rain to evaporate.”
