Bladen County’s Junior Nance won the Land O’ Lakes Golf Club championship Sunday, shooting a two-day 1-over 145 to capture the title by five strokes.
Nance took the lead in the Championship flight with an opening round 1-under 71 Saturday that was two shots ahead of Landon Rising. Wesley Bryant had the low score Sunday with a 73 to finish in second with a two-round 6-over 150.
Nance also won low net in the Championship flight with his 145. Mike Cartrette was second at 5-over 149.
In the White Tees flight, Jordan McPherson won low gross at 11-over 155. Dawson Heath was second at 12-over 156. In low net, Todd Turner, Parks Godwin and McPherson tied at 9-over 153 with Turner declared the winner.
In the Gold Tees flight, Wilber Simmons won with a 6-over 150 score. In low net, Gareth Williams had a 1-over 145 score to win.
