ELIZABETHTOWN – Azariah Rhodie and Mariah Smith scored 4 points each to lead East Bladen to a 16-15 non-conference jayvee girls basketball victory over Midway Wednesday.
The Lady Eagles closed the first half with 5 straight points to take a 7-6 lead. Midway went back up 13-12 before a pair of East Bladen baskets pulled out the win.
Lavada Jackson and MaKayla Dixon tallied 3 points each for Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles who improved to 6-4 on the season and will host Red Springs Friday.
