ELIZABETHTOWN – East Bladen built a 28-2 third quarter lead en route to a 30-15 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over West Columbus Wednesday.
Ronkira Lennon fired in 10 points to lead the Lady Eagle scoring. Teammate Sierra Strickland tossed in 6 points, and Lavada Jackson followed with 4 points.
The Lady Eagles built leads of 12-2 after one period, 16-2 at halftime and 28-2 at the third quarter break.
Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles evened their record at 3-3 and will return to action in January.
