CLINTON – Freshman Ellie Kinlaw and sophomore Kali Allen sparked West Bladen to a 2-0 Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee volleyball victory over Clinton Tuesday by set scores of 25-12 and 25-8.
Kinlaw drilled in 12 service points including 5 aces and 5 kills. Allen smacked in 9 service points including 3 aces and added 2 assists and 2 digs.
Kimberly Dowless smashed in 6 service points including an ace, 2 attacks and had an assist. Tah’lea Bethea swatted in 6 kills and a block.
Sophomore Makenna Thurman knocked in 4 service points including 2 aces and a kill. Sophomore Jahyra Priest pounded in 4 service points including an ace, and Helaina Conklin smoked in a kill.
Coach Kaitlyn Sykes’ Lady Knights improved to 5-1 in SAC-6 play and 13-5 overall.
