Bladen County’s Kayla Thompson will be playing in Venice, Florida on October 17-18 in her attempt to move forward in her quest for a future in professional golf.
She will be playing the Panther Course at Plantation Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, October 17, teeing off on hole number 10 at 8:23 a.m.
On Wednesday, October 18, she will play the Bobcat Course and will tee off on the number one hole at 12:33 p.m.
Players who complete 72 holes and do not advance will earn Epson Tour status.
Thompson qualified for Stage II by finishing among the top 95 in Stage I held in late August in Rancho Mirage, California.
Thompson lives in Clarkton and graduated from West Bladen High School.
