Clarkton native Kayla Thompson finished 2nd in the CGA Women’s Amateur Tournament held June 2-4 at Porter’s Neck Golf Course in Wilmington. Kayla came in second with scores of 74-71-73=218. The low score for the tourney was 217.
Kayla will be a senior and a four year golfer at UNCW next fall.
