Kayla Thompson, Clarkton resident and former UNCW golfer, is continuing her quest in the world of professional golf. Kayla is registered to play March 4-6 at Grenelefe South Golf Course in Haines City, Florida.
This year she has participated in two pro tournaments.
In the first tournament, Kayla shot 76-72-79=227 and tied for 22nd and earned 275 points but was just out of the money.
In the second tournament, she shot 75-74-80=229 and placed 19th and received 275 points but no cash.
