Land O Lakes Golf Club has scheduled its annual member-guest tournament for Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8 with a deadline to register by Tuesday, October 3 at 5 p.m.
Teams will be flighted by handicap. Best Ball format on Saturday with a 10 a.m. shotgun start and full handicap for Calcutta. On Sunday, it will be a Texas Scramble format with a 1 p.m. shotgun start and 50% for the scramble.
White Tees will be used for players under 65 years old, gold tees for player 65 years old and over, and red tees for players 75 year old and over.
Entry fee is $110 per play, which includes a practice round on Friday, October 6.
Players need to have an established handicap to compete. Handicaps must be provided to the golf course at the time of sign up. If they do not currently have one talk to Andy in the golf shop.
Also, there will be an auction Friday, October 6. Players and one guest per player are included for the auction in the entry fee. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be provided from 6-7 p.m. with the Calcutta auction set for 7 p.m. If you do not buy your team you will have the option to buy half back from the team that purchased it.
