Murchison read “There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Chick” by Lucille Colando and illustrated by Jared Lee. According to the book’s description, the hungry old lady swallows a chick, some straw, an egg, some candy, a basket, and a bow. Just as she’s hopping and skipping along, who should she meet but the Easter Bunny.

Murchison, an East Bladen High graduate, has spent part of his offseason reading to children in schools and the Bladen County Public Library. He is an admitted fan of Dr. Seuss books.

Murchison will be entering his fourth season in the NFL when training camp for the Los Angeles Rams opens in July. He was added to the Rams roster late last season after being released by the Tennessee Titans.
