Lefrederick Wooten of Elizabethtown’s team, the Dirt Bags Camo, won the 14U Triple Crown Border Wars Tournament this weekend in Rocky Mount.
The 14U bracket had 17 teams participating from North Carolina and Virginia. The Camo team outscored their opponents 39-5 in posting a record of 5-0 with three shutouts.
The Dirt Bag Camos next tournament will be in Lake Point, Ga., where they will compete in the Perfect Game Wood Bat Championship series
