Spread the love

Happy Spring everyone! Happy Valentine’s Day! And Happy Easter too! As we are trudging along, hoping to get back to something close to what we used to call normal, our Public Health workers have had their hands full, with testing residents for COVID-19, securing doses of the vaccine for folks in every group, (I’ll be getting my first shot tomorrow morning), and if that weren’t enough, they’ve still completed their sanitation inspections while checking for healthful conditions in our public kitchens.

You may notice that many of the listings for inspections in March were performed at our school cafeterias, nutrition sites and assisted care facilities. We all want our young students to be able to attend their classes in person, just as we want assurance that our loved ones who require professional care are living in healthful conditions. That’s why its so important to be able to rely on our friends at the Bladen County Health Department, and know that they are on the job as some of our county’s most conscientious workers.

Check out the list below to view the inspections that were completed in March. Don’t forget to make an appointment to get your vaccination, and as always, Bon Appitite.
