The Battle of the Bands, organized by the Fayetteville Fall Dogwood Festival and Blazin’ Keys Entertainment, will be held on October 15, 2022. The festival line-up will showcase great bands from the southeastern area.

The BladenOnline team confirmed Nashville signed artist Brent Underwood with 87 & Pine Band will be in the battle.

Underwood and his band recently filmed a video at Chimney Rock, recorded a movie, played with Diamond Rio, and have commercials on the horizon, so our team wondered, with all the paid gigs, why Underwood and 87 & Pine want to participate in a Battle of the Bands?

Underwood replied to the question, “We’ve had a lot of very cool things happen these past few years, but we’re hungry, and we just want to play. It would be arrogant for us to expect things to be just given to us, and we want people to see we’re out here earning it.”

Brent Underwood, lead singer of the band, said, “We’re playing from 7:00 pm until 7:30 pm on the main stage at the Dogwood Festival this Saturday.”

The winner receives paid slots during future Dogwood events. The event will be held at Festival Park.
