OCEAN ISLE BEACH – West Bladen’s doubles team of senior Kaden Thurman and Lainey Autry were eliminated in the 2nd round of the NCHSAA Class 2A Mid East Girls Tennis Regionals Friday by a team from Raleigh Charter School.
Thurman & Autry defeated a Clinton team 6-0, 6-2 in their opening round match.
During their 4-year career, Thurman & Autry won two conference championships and won 43 of the 51 matches that they played as partners.
