TABOR CITY – Aiden Russ and Jonah Bryan drilled in 2 goals each to lead Bladenboro to a 5-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over Tabor City Tuesday.
Russ started the Bulldog scoring parade with the game’s 1st goal, then Jonah Bryan found the back of the net with his 1st goal as the Bulldogs built a 2-0 halftime lead.
Russ knocked in his 2nd goal that padded the lead to 3-0. Bryan delivered his 2nd goal that grew the lead to 4-0. Teammate Hezekiah Blanks banged in a goal off of a corner kick to push the lead to 5-0.
The Red Devils scored a 2nd half goal on a penalty kick.
Coach Steve Thurman’s Bulldogs improved to 2-1 and will host Elizabethtown Thursday.
