EVERGREEN – Ishaq Algozy lit up the scoreboard with a ‘Hat Trick’ plus one of 4 goals and led Elizabethtown to a 4-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory Thursday over West Columbus.
Tevin McClean was credited with an assist on the initial Algozy goal, and Algozy’s final 3 goals were all unassisted. Fox Sutton had 5 saves and recorded the victory in goal for the Cougars.
Coach Jay Raynor’s Cougars improved to 1-2 on the season and will travel to East Columbus Monday.
