WHITEVILLE – Williams Township defeated Bladenboro 4-1 Tuesday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer action.
The Aggies scored 1st, but Jonah Bryan fired in the tying goal off of an assist from Elijah McCollum. Williams went back on top 2-1 on a goal with 6 minutes left in the half.
Williams blasted in a long goal from the midfield circle off of the 2nd half kickoff to push the lead to 3-1 then tacked on a later goal.
Goalie Hunter Hester had a number of saves for Bladenboro in the 2nd half.
The Bulldogs, now 1-1, will travel to Clarkton School of Discovery Thursday for a 3:45 p.m. game.
