CLARKTON – Casey Wilder ran for 3 touchdowns Tuesday night to lead Clarkton School of Discovery to a 32-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference football victory over East Columbus.
Wilder powered into the end zone for a touchdown in the 1st quarter then carried for the 2-point conversion and an 8-0 lead. Teammate JaQuan McRae dashed into the end zone for the next Blue Devil touchdown, and Wilder banged through the line for the 2-point conversion and a 16-0 lead.
Wilder scored his 2nd touchdown of the period and once again ran for the 2-point conversion and a 24-0 CSD lead.
After a scoreless 2nd and 3rd quarters, Wilder broke loose again in the final period for his 3rd touchdown of the game then tacked on his 4th 2-point conversion of the night.
Coach Kim Cain’s Blue Devils raised their record to 2-0 and will travel to Whiteville Central Tuesday night.
