TABOR CITY – Unbeaten South Columbus defeated Elizabethtown 32-8 Tuesday night to remain tied with Whiteville Central for the top spot in the Waccamaw Middle School Conference football standings with a 4-0 record.
Jayden Lewis raced 55 yards for a Cougar touchdown in the 3rd quarter, and Prince McKoy ran the 2-point conversion. Lewis had 2 other touchdowns called back by penalties.
The Cougars, now 2-2, will travel to West Columbus Thursday, Nov. 30th. South Columbus will host Clarkton School of Discovery on Nov. 30th.
