CERRO GORDO – West Columbus rallied with 24 points in the 2nd half and defeated Bladenboro 30-8 Tuesday night in Waccamaw Middle School Conference football action.
West Columbus scored on a pass play to take a 6-0 lead in the opening half. The Bulldogs answered when Kendell Lesane raced 35 yards on a toss-sweep for a touchdown. Lesane also carried into the end zone for the 2-point conversion and an 8-6 Bladenboro lead at halftime.
The Bulldogs will travel to East Columbus next Tuesday.
