TABOR CITY – Natalee Sykes fired in a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals Monday as Bladenboro’s Lady Bulldogs rolled to a 5-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer victory over Tabor City.

Sykes opened up the scoring with a goal off of an assist from Kali Allen. An assist from Faith Wren helped Sykes find the back of the net again and gave the Lady Bulldogs a 2-0 halftime lead.

Harmony Thompson delivered an assist to Sykes early in the 2nd half, and Sykes banged in her 3rd goal of the game.

The Lady Red Devils trimmed the margin to 3-1, but Sykes sent a pass to Allen who knocked in a goal that stretched the Bladenboro lead to 4-1. Allen raced to the goal and hammered in her 2nd goal of the game to pad the lead to 5-1.

Coach Steve Thurman’s Lady Bulldogs improved to 3-2 and will host Williams Township Thursday.
