WHITEVILLE – Tar Heel’s Lady Panthers rolled to their 3rd straight victory 4-0 Monday over Whiteville Central in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer action.
Karla Mejia fired in both of Tar Heel’s 1st half goals. Katherine Mejia stretched the lead to 3-0 with a 2nd half goal, and Leidi Zuniga drilled in a goal with 5 minutes left to play that pushed the final margin to 4-0.
Jamaiya Ballard recorded her 2nd consecutive shutout in goal for the Lady Panthers. Ballard was credited with 2 saves in the game.
Coach Brett Jackson’s Lady Panthers, now 3-0, will travel to Elizabethtown Thursday.
