NAKINA – Nakina scored both of their goals in the 1st half and held on for a 2-1 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer victory Monday over Clarkton School of Discovery.
Cabria Baldwin drilled in a penalty kick for the only Lady Blue Devil goal in the 2nd half. “Brenna Hester and Shania Thurman stepped up for us on defense,” said Clarkton Coach Laura Hall. “We continue to skill build and improve with each practice and game.”
The Lady Blue Devils will travel to Bladenboro Middle Thursday at 4 p. m.
