BLADENBORO – Bladenboro’s Lady Bulldogs opened their Waccamaw Middle School volleyball campaign Monday with a pair of 2-0 victories over Clarkton School of Discovery and Tabor City.
Nakina defeated Clarkton School of Discovery 2-0 in another match.
In the opening match, the Lady Bulldogs defeated Clarkton 25-12 and 25-17.
Bladenboro won the 1st set against Tabor City 25-17 then edged the Lady Eagles 25-23 in the final set.
Thursday Clarkton will host Tabor City and Williams Township, while Bladenboro will travel to East Columbus and will also play Nakina.
