ELIZABETHTOWN – Emereau Bladen claimed their 3rd consecutive middle school volleyball victory Monday sweeping Fayetteville Christian 3-0 by set scores of 25-18, 25-17 and 25-15.

Bristol Allen pounded in 6 straight service points including 1 ace as the Lady Aviators rallied from a 15-14 deficit to go up 21-15 in the opening set. Teammate Harlie Shaw tallied 4 service points including an ace in the set, and Julia Flowers drilled in a trio of aces.

Three Allen service points and 4 more from Addison Douglas sparked Emereau to an 11-5 lead in Set 2. Flowers blistered the court with 5 aces and another service point as the lead grew to 24-13.

A 7-point service run from Douglas opened up a 14-5 Lady Aviator lead in the 3rd set. Douglas served out the match with a pair of aces at 25-15.

Douglas topped the Emereau scoring with 15 service points that included 6 aces. Flowers fired in 10 aces and 2 other service points. Allen smacked in 11 service points that included 2 aces. Shaw finished with 5 service points that included an ace.

Bella Beard smoked in an ace in the 2nd set for the winners and totaled 3 service points. Mollie Sasser and Vera Valentiner added 1 service point each.

The Lady Aviators are slated to travel to Hyde Park Baptist Church in Lumberton Tuesday to play Southeastern Academy.
