FAYETTEVILLE – Emereau Bladen swept a middle school volleyball match 3-0 over St. Patrick’s Thursday by set scores of 25-5, 25-14 and 25-8.

Harlie Shaw and Bristol Allen drilled in 10 service points each in the opening set for the Lady Aviators. Shaw and Allen both had 2 aces in the set. Julia Flowers added a service point.

Elyn Rice fired in 6 service points that included 3 aces in the 2nd set for Emereau. Teammate Trinity Locklear knocked in 5 service points and had 1 ace. Abby Dicicco smacked in 2 aces and another service point, and Makenna Bryan smoked in an ace.

Vera Valentiner lit up the scoreboard with 7 service points that included 3 aces for Emereau in the 3rd set. Addison Douglas hammered in 4 service points that included 2 aces. Flowers tallied 5 service points in the final set, and Shaw dropped in 2 more service points.

Shaw topped the Lady Aviator scoring with 12 service points. Allen followed with 10 service points. Valentiner tallied 7 points, and Rice and Flowers totaled 6 points each. Douglas contributed 4 points, Dicicco scored 3 points, and Bryan added 2 points.

Emereau, now 2-0, will host Fayetteville Christian Monday at 4 p.m.
