Bladen and Columbus NC County Cooperative Extension Service will be offering the Safe Plates for Food Managers Training Program from March 28-30.

Safe Plates for Food Managers is a food safety training course developed by NC State University. A food manager certification can be obtained by passing the ANSI accredited exam. Passing this exam satisfies the FDA Model Food Code requirement for a certified food protection manager.

The training and exam will take place at the NC Cooperative Extension Office in Bladen County, located at 450 Smith Cr. Elizabethtown, NC 28337. The registration fee is $115 and covers the cost of the course materials and exam. Registration is due by March 7, 2022.
