A portion of Richardson Street (State Road 1212) in Elizabethtown will be closed through Friday, Sept. 29 at 5 p.m. for crossline replacement. The closure is south of Peanut Plant Road (State Road 1150) at Mile .23.
Work began Monday, Sept. 25.
Other road-related announcements for Bladen County include:
• US 701N: All traffic has been routed to the new bridge spanning the Cape Fear River in Elizabethtown. The closure has a wide load traffic restriction.
• Elwell Ferry is open.
