PITTSBORO – Woods Charter, the No. 2 seed in the 1A East, defeated East Bladen 5-0 Thursday night in the 4th round of the NCHSAA Class 1A girls’ soccer playoffs.
This was the first time that the Lady Eagles had reached the 4th round of the soccer playoffs.
East Bladen, the No. 6 seed in the 1A East, finished the season with a 16-3-2 record. Woods Charter, now 21-4-1, advances to the 1A East Finals to play the winner of Voyager Academy and Hobbton.
