The warmest February in many years has had the golfers swarming onto Vineyard Golf to enjoy one of the best golf courses in southeastern North Carolina.
A Tossup was held Friday, February 24, and winning was split between two teams. The team of David Cross, Norgie Hester, Mac Porter and Jimmy Davis won the front nine with 1-under par. The team of Stacy Owen, David Settlemyer, William Brisson and Charles DeVane won the back nine with a score of 2-under par.
Some low scores recorded this week was Mac Porter 73, Stacy Owen 74 twice, Ricky Marvin 75, Mac McClure 75 and Pam Davis Taylor 72.
