In the spirit of Halloween, Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown has planned a “Nightmare Before Christmas” Halloween party for children. The party is scheduled for Tuesday, October 26th, at 6:30 pm.

The event will be outdoors; In both the courtyard and library parking lot. Bladen County Library Director, Sheila Nance stated, “There will be games, crafts, and lots of fun!”

There will be freshly-popped popcorn served, and Halloween costumes are welcome, of course! Each child that attends will receive a goody bag and one free book while supplies last. In order to receive this prize, the child must be present. A parent or guardian must accompany children.

The library branches in Clarkton and Bladenboro will each hold their own Halloween parties as well. Information regarding these celebrations will be announced soon, according to Director Sheila Nance.

Additionally, the library branches are still collecting candy to contribute to the goodie bags. Read more: https://bladencounty.org/bladen-county-public-libraries-accepting-candy-donations-for-fall-outreaches/
