West Bladen’s Lady Knights travel to Windsor Tuesday for a 6 p.m. game against the Bertie Lady Falcons in the opening round of the NCHSAA Class 2A Girls Basketball Play-offs.

Coach Brian McCleney’s Lady Knights finished fourth in the Three Rivers Conference with an 11-7 league record. Junior Jessica Labra and freshman Hannah Pait have also played keyed roles in the frontcourt for the Lady Knights, and junior guard Tatiana Hunt helps out in the backcourt.

Coach Kelvin Hayes’ Bertie Lady Falcons won the Northeastern Coastal regular-season and tournament championships and have outscored their opponents by an average 64-40 margin. Their two losses were to 4A power Winterville South Central and 19-7 Riverside.
