Thoughts While Shaving

A couple of reminders related to Bladen We Care.  Dates for the annual fundraisers have been announced.  This years Gala, the 30th annual, will be held Friday, April 5th, at Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery in Elizabethtown from 7 to 11 p.m. featuring The Legacy Motown Revenue, presented by Smithfield.  Tickets are $100 per couple.  A fun event and proceeds benefit folks who are ‘falling through the cracks’ of our healthcare system.  Bladen We Care has provided grants to many for years.

The second fundraising event is the Annual Golf Tournament at The Vineyard, White Lake.  The date this year is April 25th.  More info coming.  If you cannot attend either, and you would like to help financially you may send donations/memorials to Bladen We Care, PO Box 1569, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.

The Gala and Golf Tournament fundraisers are held annually in April, memorials are welcomed year-round.  Thanks for your continued support.

Gala tickets are available from Bladen We Care Board members and other supporters.

Bladen We Care is just one of many local efforts, doing good work for Bladen residents.

Our recent temps have been all over the board…..Average last frost of the year April 1-10th.

‘Bout this time of year, many begin to get ‘antsy’ looking forward to warmer weather and time at White Lake, the beach or the mountains.

Spring officially arrives March 20.
