Thoughts While ShavingThis area has had about all it can stand of Florence and Mathew…The couple have worn out their welcome and left the area in a difficult situation….

How much rain have we had?  Too much…20 to 30 inches, my uneducated guess, with the eastern portion of Bladen receiving the most…all have received much more than needed.

Today’s forecast offers little relief.  Showers, with thunderstorms also possible.  High near 84.  Breezy with a southeast wind 18 to 21 mph.  Chance of precipitation is 100%.  New rainfall amounts between 2 and 3 inches possible.

Next chance for sunny skies is Wednesday.

Roads are flooded….Good Samaritans are doing what they do best…taking care of those in need, removing debris from roadways, etc., they have performed like the ‘champs’ they are.  Utility workers must be ‘worn out’ and the challenges continue, their work is not complete.

We have had, what some would label, 2 one hundred year storms in 2 years…

To Florence, don’t let the door knob hit you on the back side, just go away forever.

Not much you can say positive, except, the topic of conversation has changed for a short time from politics.  The 2018 General Election is just 8 weeks away….

Enjoy, as best you can this day, many churches have cancelled services, pray where you are for all.

Will take sometime to return to some degree of normalcy, whatever that is for you and yours.

Have a lovely Sunday! Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.
