Many of our local fire departments operate with volunteers throughout the county. The month of November has dates set for folks to show their support to at least three of our county’s fire departments.
Barbecue and chicken plates and pancake breakfasts are all scheduled. Everyone is invited for the three events.
Friday, Nov. 4: Dublin Vol. Fire Dept. Is having a fund raiser will be selling barbecue and chicken plate combinations . Barbecue plates cost $7 each, combination plates cost $10 each. Friday, November 4, starting at 10:30 am until , and on Saturday, November 5, the fire department will be having open house starting 10:30 am until 2:30 pm . All are welcome to come and enjoy good food and get to know more about the fire department.

Saturday, Nov. 5: White Oak Fire Department will host a pancake breakfast from 7am to 10am. All are welcome to attend and donations are appreciated! We will have applications available for new members as well! We are located at 10838 NC HWY 53 West in White Oak. Donations may be sent to Post Office Box 130 White Oak, NC 28399.

Saturday, Nov. 12: The Kelly Volunteer Fire Department will offer an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12. Donations are accepted. The fire department is located at 18628 NC Hwy 53 East, Kelly.
