The East Bladen girls’ basketball team scrimmaged Lumberton on Thursday in preparation for the 2023-24 season.
East Bladen is scheduled to open the season Friday, Nov. 17 at home against Purnell Swett, although the junior varsity boys, girls varsity and boys varsity games may be rescheduled because of the football team advancing to the third round of the NCHSAA playoffs.
West Bladen is scheduled to open its season Friday, Nov. 17 at the Castle against South Brunswick. The junior varsity boys game will tip at 4:30 p.m. followed by the girls varsity game about 6 p.m. and the boys varsity game about 7:30 p.m.
