The governor’s race in North Carolina is a tight one, according to recent poll results.

A poll conducted by Public Policy Polling during the week of December 5 through December 7 shows Gov. Pat McCrory with a two point lead over his challenger NC Attorney General Roy Cooper, a democrat.

Currently, according to the PPP poll, McCrory is leading Cooper 44 percent to 42 percent.

In recent polling by PPP, McCrory’s job approval rating is about 38 percent and 46 percent of North Carolina voters were reported as saying they have no opinion.

In the North Carolina US Senate race, incumbent Republican Richard Burr is leading Democratic challenger Deborah Ross, 46 percent to 35 percent, according to the PPP poll.
