Kandace Blanks is a philanthropist and entrepreneur in her late twenties. Becoming a published author is one of her greatest achievements in life.

She grew up in Bladen County and attended East Bladen High School before graduating in 2013. In 2016, she graduated from Wingate University with a bachelor’s degree.

After she graduated from college, she was inspired to write a devotional book titled Growing Into: God Bless Those 20 Somethings. The intended audience for this book is young adults.

Kandace added, “It had to do with growing, and it was for that transitional time.” This devotional book is unlike any other because the content is made relatable for readers. Kandace described the book as “a helpful workbook.”

The stories offer guidance about how to navigate adulthood while seeking God. The book offers an inspiring approach to seven ideas that can enhance spiritual and emotional life. Kandace became influenced by family, church, and neighborhood, all of which served as the foundation for creating this devotional book.

Kandace’s favorite quote is by Steve Martin, which states, “Be so excellent they can’t ignore you.” “I am a perfectionist,” she noted, “and it refers to mastering your skill to the point that others can notice it.” She poured her heart and soul into this book, which she believes readers will enjoy.

Kandace now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. In the education sector, she has handled various director responsibilities. Ronnie and Helen Banks, her parents, are sponsoring a meet and greet book signing at the Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown on March 19, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Attendance is available to the public, and guests will have the privilege of meeting a talented local author. To meet the needs of all readers, the book is available in two varied formats. Paperbacks are sold through Barnes & Noble, while eBooks are sold by Amazon.
