Remember Toys for Tots this Giving Tuesday

Many citizens are in the giving spirit today because it is #GivingTuesday. A day set aside for people to make donations to their favorite non-profits.

One campaign across the nation asking for support is the Toys for Tots. The organization was put in place by the United State Marine Corp. This year, Beverly Rodgers saw the damage Hurricane Florence did to North Carolina and has promoted the Toys for Tots donation drive across Bladen County.

Time is running out to bring your new, unwrapped toy(s) to one of the drop off sites. Rodgers and Carmen Jones want to ensure children will have a brighter Christmas this year with the assistance of Toys for Tots.

To donate a new, unwrapped toy, Toys for Tots drop off locations in Bladen County include:

Dragon Fly Coffee House located at 119 W. Broad Street, Elizabethtown.

*Lu Mil Vineyard located at 438 Suggs-Taylor Road, Elizabethtown.

*Tractor Supply located at 1305 West Broad Street in Elizabethtown.

*The Rent-A-Center located at 1311 West Broad Street in Elizabethtown.

*Take a 2nd Look Thrift Store on US Hwy. 701 South in Elizabethtown.

*The Division on Aging located at 608 McLeod Street in Elizabethtown.

*The Senior Center in Bladenboro.

*Sharon View Credit Union located at 166616 NC Hwy. 87 in Tar Heel.
