Spread the love

At 10 this morning, the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting for the newly renovated Ski Burger restaurant and Rondaveu Pizzeria, formerly known as Pizza Connection.

A crowd gathered around in between the neighboring restaurants, owned by Tim and Tammy Blount, to celebrate these businesses. Speaking of celebration, the motto for these two businesses at White Lake is “Eat, Drink, Celebrate!”

Soon, Sandy Bottom Tacos will open, in addition to Skeeter’s Ice Cream and Shaved Ice.

Tim and Tammy love the lake, and they purchased the property that their businesses sit on with a goal in mind – to give back to the community, and share fun and lifestyle at the lake. These businesses have created twelve full-time positions, and will stay open all year long.

Rondaveu Pizzeria offers subs, wings, salads and most importantly, pizza! Chefs from Charleston and New Jersey have trained their staff to provide delicious food. Ski Burger offers breakfast and lunch daily. The business purchases meat and produce locally.

Owner, Tim Blount, stated “I just want to thank everyone for the support and understanding… We have had a few bumps but we are tweaking it.” In regards to the staff, he shared that they are “the most passionate people I have ever worked with.” He also shared that several TVs and speakers will be added for sports viewing and more.

Finally, the staff gathered around to cut the red ribbon as everyone cheered.

Terri Dennison with the Chamber of Commerce thanked everyone for coming, and thanked the owners for investing into the community.
