Friends of the Bay Lakes is sponsoring its annual Spring Fling on Saturday, April 8 at Jones Lake State Park.
The event, which is free, is scheduled to be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and include egg hunts, music, games, prizes and more.
Children are asked to bring a basket to collect eggs. The Easter Bunny will be in attendance for pictures.
Concessions will be available.
Vendor applications are available by emailing jennifer.melvin@ncparks.gov or jessica.lennon@ncparks.gov. The fee is $25 and must be paid with cash or money order to secure a spot.
