East Bladen’s track team came up a little short in the NCHSAA 2-A
State Track Meet in Greensboro…They represented the area well…
This years Water Festival was a “blast”…If you missed it, begin
making plans for next year…
Had several responses to “Thoughts” from yesterday…..including
confirmation that the last Blueberry Festival was in 1973 and there
was a Miss Blueberry Festival queen crowned at Elizabethtown High
School…The White Lake Water Festival was organized a few years
later…
Beautiful day in store for today, and a chance of rain early to mid week..
Saw a wrecked car in the parade reminding folks of “texting” and
driving…Dangerous…as is Drinking and Driving…maybe a few active
sentences would get some attention…30 days in the “slammer”
BladenOnline covered events Saturday in…Bladenboro, White Lake,
Edenton and points between…It’s fun, hopefully we continue to
provide a service to Bladen County residents at no cost…and we are
the original ‘online’ source…with over 7 years experience… We do
