Thoughts While ShavingBladen County Public Schools will be operating on a 2 hour delay today, based on info received from Valerie Newton, Public Relations and Information Officer.  Reason for the delay is weather, caused by remnants of Hurricane Irma.

Emereau, Bladen County local charter school will be closed today, no info on other educational institutions in the area.

Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber meeting at 12 noon today at Cape Fear Farmers Market.  Dickie Walters and Chris Heuer of Star Communications will be the sharing many opportunities and services of the company they represent.  All are welcome.

Dublin Peanut Festival is set for Saturday at Dublin School

Beast of Bladenboro Festival upcoming later part of October and The Pork & Beats Festival is set for Saturday, November 18th in Elizabethtown.

Bladen’s busy, lots to do and jobs are available.

Storms cause problems for many, lots of confusion, but also opportunities to help others.  Many Bladen residents have already responded.
