Many of our church family have been at the FFA camp, White Lake, for the past 2 or 3 days … I have fond memories of camps when our boys were youngsters … Today’s services will be held at the FFA camp … and yes … Today is CHURCH DAY … The options for church in Bladen County are many, varied and all welcome visitors…
With little to do after cutting grass yesterday, stumblin’ thru the TV entertainment line-up, I discovered a recent Bob Woodward U-Tube meeting, and the topic was his relationships with former President Donald Trump … Did not have time to listen, so recorded for later … maybe today … Woodward has authored books of all recent US Presidents … kind of a ‘tell all’, with taped interviews to back-up … Depending on the Sunday sports line-up, maybe later … but soon.
Weekend sports line-up is more varied as the 2023 NFL season begins soon, college football begins next weekend, high school football is underway … Major League Baseball continues, NASCAR continues. One of the biggies in the sports world is the men’s PGA tournament … Today, the BMW champion will be determined … being played in Chicago … next week The Tour Championship finals will be held in Atlanta … A small field and a ton of money … No doubt there are other events as well…
