thoughts while shavingChristmas shopping continues for a few more hours … days … The deadline is fast approaching…

NFL action last night … Seattle 20 – Philadelphia 17.

Some of my friends enjoy shopping at the last minute … Not me … the less confusion, the better.

A reminder from our friends at Bladen County Solid Waste … All convenience sites will be closed Monday, December 25 … Normal operations resume Tuesday, December 26. The Transfer Station will be closed Monday, Christmas Day and will resume a normal schedule Thursday, December 28.

Checking New Year’s Resolutions…

Remember when all tree decorations were home-made … all you needed was a sheet of paper, scissors, glue and some crayons…

Sunny today with a high near 46 and windy. Clear skies tonight, low around 24. Wednesday, sunny with a high near 49. The next mention of rain is Christmas Day … a 30% chance…

Lu Mil lights on display, nightly, and beautiful … Call ahead for details…

Good news … the economy seems to be improving…

Favorite Christmas dish? Too many … no time for limits…

I dreamed our house was full … with sick folks … and someone kept calling me, waking me up for updates … Ever wonder where such thoughts originate?

Think I would enjoy celebrating Christmas one more time as a youngster … Everything was so real … so much fun … and I never received a bill.

“The best way to get a puppy for Christmas is to beg for a baby brother.”

“The good lord didn’t create anything without a purpose, but mosquitoes come close.”

“We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.”
