A busy day ahead … Headline this a.m. in newspapers across the state … NC lawmakers will redraw maps, but haven’t ruled out an appeal to the highest court, all about fairness to voters of NC. Primary elections were originally scheduled for March, 2022. A challenge to new redistricting maps has forced everything later than hoped for … Truth be known, not as much about fairness as it is about the party in power increasing their odds of retaining power … Both parties play the game…

Mark your calendar for a couple of fun events upcoming … Casino Night Fundraiser scheduled for Friday, February 28 at Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery … sponsored by Bladen’s Bloomin’ and the Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce. Call 910-645-2292 for info…

Another fun event on the long range calendar … Dublin Peanut Festival will host a Fish Fry Fundraiser, March 12 at LuMil General Store from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., More later…

Hope and pray Russia does not invade their neighbors … could be all-out war … Countries are taking sides…

The Olympics provide great entertainment…
