No winner in last night’s Power Ball drawing. The estimated jackpot for the next drawing is over $350 million, with a lump sum payment of over $200 million. A lot of grocery money will be spend this week on lottery tickets.
Think the Carolina Panthers can capture a win over the Bucs from Tampa Bay today? If they do, will assure they will play the first couple of NFL playoff games at home, if they win. If two games are played in Charlotte, the city, Mecklenburg County and the Panthers organization will be winners, big time. Folks come to town expecting to spend big bucks. Many #1 jerseys will be sold. If my info is correct, kickoff is set for 4:25 PM on FOX. Win, lose or draw, the Panthers are in round one of the playoffs.
This is the last weekend of regular season NFL play. The Super Bowl is still a few weeks away.
